
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT AND RANGE RULES
This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the undersigned Member ("Member") and Weber's Gun Range ("Range"), located at [69th Northport], for the purpose of regulating the terms and conditions of membership, the use of the Range, and adherence to safety and legal requirements. By signing this Agreement, the Member agrees to comply with the following terms, rules, and regulations.
1. Membership Fees and Payment Structure
1.1 Annual Membership Fee: The Member agrees to pay an annual fee of $200.00 for the right to use all ranges at the Range. The annual fee will be renewed each calendar year and is due before access is granted for the following year.
1.2 Sign-in Fee: In addition to the annual membership fee, the Member agrees to pay a one-time "sign-in" fee of $300.00. This fee is required upon initial registration.
1.3 Payment Terms: Both the annual membership fee and sign-in fee must be paid in full before the Member is granted access to any Range facilities or amenities.
2. Liability Waiver and Safety Instruction
2.1 Liability Waiver: The Member agrees to sign a yearly liability waiver and release form, which will be kept on file by the Range.
2.2 Safety Instruction: The Member agrees to receive safety instruction upon registration. This instruction will include information regarding the proper use of the Range, safety procedures, and relevant laws.
3. Range Use and Training Policies
3.1 Range Access: The Member is granted the right to use all shooting ranges at the Range, provided the use is in accordance with the training schedule of Weber's Professional Gun Consulting and training units.
3.2 Temporary Range Reallocation: In the event that a training session or group is using a range, the Member agrees to temporarily use a different range for safety reasons. The Range will publish the training schedule regularly to ensure Members can plan accordingly.
3.3 Metal Targets: Members are permitted to use metal targets, provided they use the appropriate ammunition as specified at each range. Members are solely responsible for the replacement or repair of any metal targets damaged due to improper use or negligence.
3.4 Shotgun Range: Only birdshot ammunition is allowed on the shotgun range to avoid damage to equipment and targets.
3.5 Electronic Targets: Electronic targets, including moving/turning targets and dynamic range targets, may only be used in alignment with instructions from the owner of Weber's Gun Range. The remote control for these targets will be provided by the Range owner.
4. Access, Security, and Parking
4.1 Access Code: The access code to the Range will be provided to the Member once the annual membership and sign-in fees are fully paid. The Member agrees not to share the access code with any non-member.
4.2 Parking: The Member agrees to park only in the designated parking areas and may use their own ATVs on Range property as long as they adhere to safety and legal requirements.
4.3 Private Equipment Usage: The use of private equipment such as campers, vehicles, or power generators is prohibited. Power generators on the property are securely locked and cannot be used by members.
5. Guest Policy
5.1 Guest Liability and Fees: The Member may bring guests to the Range, subject to the following:
6. Target Purchases and Financial Responsibility
6.1 Paper Targets: Membership does not include the provision of paper targets. The Member is responsible for purchasing paper targets from the training building. All payments for targets must be placed in the designated "blue cashier box."
7. Range Maintenance and Contribution
7.1 Maintenance Contribution: Each Member is required to contribute to maintaining the Range by completing a minimum of 5-8 hours of volunteer service per year. Additional details will be communicated separately.
8. General Range Rules
8.1 Hours of Operation: The Range is open for use between 9:00 AM and dark each day.
8.2 Sign-in Requirement: Members must sign in on the register provided in the training building before using any Range facility.
8.3 Compliance with Laws: The Member agrees to comply with all local, state, and federal laws while on Range property.
8.4 Prohibited Activities: The following activities are strictly prohibited on Range property:
8.7 Reporting Unsafe Conditions: Any unsafe conditions must be reported immediately to the owner of the Range, Markus Weber, at [205 886 2342].
9. Miscellaneous Provisions
9.1 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of State of Alabama.
9.2 Violation of Terms: Failure to adhere to any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement may result in the suspension or termination of membership, at the sole discretion of Weber's Gun Range.
